Allen Nieman is the Inaugural Apis Health Angels Fund Manager
I have been the Investor and due diligence lead in Seattle Angel Conference (SAC) XI (Spring2017), assistant fund manager and investor in SAC XII (Fall 2017); Fund manager and investor in SAC XIII (Spring 2018); Investor in follow-on SAC rounds and continued panelist, advisor, and investor. As the Seattle Angel Conference 13 Fund Manager, I managed the transition of the SAC investment when Alertive Health was purchased by Carbon Health https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20211005005679/en/Carbon-Health-Acquires-Remote-Patient-Monitoring-Company-Alertive-Healthcare-to-Expand-Omnichannel-Care-Delivery.I also manage the SAC 13 Fund investment in Curibio which after our investment has successfully raised a Series A round. A little more about me! I think of myself as a problem solver. Techie people think I'm a business person, and business people think I'm techie. I love living in the third space between business and technology. Functionally, I have experience and success in product management, marketing, and operations. I've had full P&L ownership of a business and I've been an individual contributor. I have been intimately involved in both sell and buy-side M&A deals. I have brought products to market and acquired customers both B2C and B2B. I recently jumped back into startup land and am currently VP Product for Prescryptive Health, a Series A funded company focused on improving patient experiences with prescription drugs.
