Dave Giarracco is currently COO of SeaStar Medical, board member of Spine Align, LLC and veteran commercial and operational leader within the life sciences. He has worked at Sorin Biomedica, TycoHealthcare, Covidien and Medtronic as a commercial leader driving growth. Dave is based in Boulder, CO as a lead investor, and LifeSciences Committee member of the Rockies Venture Club, Angel Capital Association member, Mentor in the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine Spark Program, University of Colorado Lab Venture Partners Mentor, and Board Advisor to University of Colorado Biomedical Engineering Program. His network extends beyond Colorado as a Venture Well ASPIRE Program Mentor, a TEDCO Builder Fund Executive, and Advisor to The Johns Hopkins University Center for Bioengineering Innovation and Design. He has a BS in Biomedical Engineering and Materials Science from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
